Want to learn some Catalan phrases!!

If I were you, I'd print it out and take it with me, and get some help from a native speaker regarding pronunciation. Bravo to you for wanting to learn the native tongue! Liz, I'll print a copy of the basic expression. I think I'll need to refer to them most of the time =) The travlang link is especially useful with audio files ready. Dani, Yes, I'm going to Barcelona and I'm staying with my friend. I was told in Barcelona, people usually speaks Catalan than Spanish. Hence, I think it'll be good to know a few words. ;) At least to know how to say thank you !! A little too late to remember all of them. The "R" is especially hard for me. Anybody happen to know what kind of Spanish is spokein in Manacor, Mallorca? I hope to go there soon for a vacation.
