Casa de la Musica |

Every where in Havana you will find live music, on the streets, in bars and clubs. Casa de la Musica is a bit out of the way, but definately worth it. The entrance fee is about $12 (10 convertable peso).
In the building on the left of the entrance hall you will find a music store where you can by and listen to CD's of the greatest Cuban musician.
The band start around 5-ish, but you want to get there a bit early so you have a table and don't have to stand in line too long.
Every afternoon you can dance away on the music of young and talented Cuban artists. Great place, great music, great atmosphere. Cubans are fantastic dancers. Their salsa is a bit different then what I'm used to from Guatemala. And if you don't know how, no problem, they are very willing to teach you.
The concert ends at about 8 or 9, time to get a bite to eat and check out the rest of Havana's nightlife.
Don't forget to bring your dancing shoes!
