Cannizaro Park in on the grounds of Cannizaro House which dates from 1705, it was frequented by Oscar Wilde, later it was a WW1 convalescent hospital, then a home for the elderly and now it is a posh hotel favoured by the tennis elite.
Once you are in the Park you are surrounded by flowers and plants, you can also see a statue of a woman carressing a fawn.
The park is full with rhododendrons, azaleas, camelias..
The parks also has very old trees as well, some over 300 years old.
I met a really cute little squirel as well.
If you want peace quiet, and a relaxing atmosphere, that's the place to be, tha grouns are very well maintained.
Toilets are also available, well, I sneaked inside the hotel..
Very easy access from wimbledon train station (20 minutes walk) or catch bus 493 or 93 to go up hill.
