GLOBO moved to a new Server-Cluster

andreas Joined: May 02 Points: 8313 Posts: 809 Posted: 2015-11-24 20:03:00    Dear fellow GLOBO members, As of today GLOBOsapiens is running with updated software and code on a new Server-Cluster of 3 machines. I am happy to announce that the move off all data went seamlessly and everything seems to run perfectly. Please report, if you encounter any unusual new error messages. The move was necessary as the old server GLOBO was running since 2011 did run out of support and new software required new hardware. As a benefit we have now 3 redundent systems instead of one server, which will result in almost 100% uptime. As you know, development of GLOBOsapiens has been discontinued around 2007 but I am still taking care of the site and lift up the data and code to new software and hardware. This severe maintenance has taken over 100 hours of work this time. Thank you for still stopping by from time to time.
