Hi all you GLOBO's
As Boris mentioned in another post there are a lot of pictures that go unvoted.
The voting process wasn't impelmeted in the early GLOBO days (correct me if I'm wrong, andy) it's something that came up later on.
I did crawl through picture galleries of oldtime members these so called pioners of GLOBOsapiens ;-) and found some hidden gems that haven't been rated yet but have been looked at over 300 times.
I invite all you members that are interested in making this community a better place (picture quality). To search for this hidden gems in the picture galleries (at the far end of the gallery because unrated pictures are below one star in the rating system of GLOBOsapiens) of our beloved oldtimers that have been our Idols on our way to senior GLOBOsapiens Membership!
LOL

I like the pictures most but cann't see and therefore rate all of them unless I browse specific members. The new links ("since last login") disappear if I have to log out (go) suddenly, or my system crashes (that happens often!) This also applies to forum postings, there is no voluntary "recent" function on GLOBOsapiens. --- Rudolf "Rangutan" Graspointner

Hi Martin,
I think that it is really great that you pointed this out.
Picture rating is a relatively new feature of Globos so many of the "pioneers" had already uploaded most of their favourite pics, myself included. Check out for example some of the pics from undedd, inzaghi, wojciech or cycleboy to name but a few. Same goes with reports as well.
There are some fantastic photos & articles that are buried under pages of new uploads.
Cheers,
Kerrie

Hi Rudi
You can show recent forum postings like that:
You go to the Forum: http://www.globosapiens.net/travel-forum.html
In the frame with the forum it says:
Forum Index on the left hand side
on the right hand side you see:
display posts since yesterday - last week - last visit
You can click on the concerning time window and then you got all the relevant posts... Simple as that ;-)
But I really miss the search function in the forum as in the pictures and the travel tips...

Hi Everybody
Well after having suggested taking a look in the archives of the old timers we are now up to 125 five star pictures. This means 1.09% of all pictures posted so far are rated as top quality...
1737 Pics with a 4 star rating.... 15% still very good
Quite a strong performance! Evenmore when you consider how high the standards are that are applied to the pictures.
There sure are some more gems to find, perhaps in your own picture book... you know the paper one at home! ;-)
Keep up your good work!
