Problems with GLOBO Homepage

mortimer Premium account Joined: Jun 04 Points: 15075 Posts: 528 Posted: 2006-01-10 12:59:00    Hi Andy Lately I encountered some problems with GLOBOsapiens The server was down for some hours last week the picture gallery is not working properly anymore: The sort after function does not work The display (country) function does not work When I want to show my kilimanjaro pics I get 25 pics in the country overview on the right hand side but whenn I click on it I only get 15 pictures displayed... The servers have been down on Friday night for some time. Problem was that this was a public holiday and during the night, so it took quit a while to get things back on track. Sorry for the delay. As you might know it from your computer, those machines sometimes crash without any reason. Regarding the problems stated: - Chat server running again (had also to be restarted, just forgoten) - The other things are problems I can adress once I am in the office again. No chance to solve it on my laptop from home. Will keep you up to date once it is fixed. Nothing to worry about. That is just a simple programm trouble. I suppose as complex and larger the site becomes this might happen sometimes. We appreciate good changes and realise they cause a risk of down-time, i'm sure our valueable uploads are always secured. ...the "sort after: date-posted" function was something I missed and now works again too again, thanks Andy and Staff! On my page there still exists the kilimanjaro problem, but I can live with it, no worries because when I click on the contry selection above the gallerie all pics from tansania are shown.
