Travelling is not new!'s by jacko1

Calais - France, Nord-Pas-de-Calais my wife's ancestors at a wedding in France in about 1893, I tried to salvage this from an old glass plate, according to letters of the time it took four days to get there from Birmingham, they were the real travellers!!.

My next pic is a lot better but I didn't think it was necessary to repeat the comment. mistybleu - Jun, 05 2010 10:06am Wow, this is great; my grandparents were born around this time. jacko1 - Jun, 05 2010 11:06am Thanks for your comment Amanda, more letters have since been found that suggests they were Romanies by birth, I am still looking for more clues but records from that period are very scarce.
