Queens Bistro is a live music venue where the best local Penang bands all want to perform. It has the usual mix of DJ's friendly waitresses & live European football on cable tv. It is billed as a rock & soul venue, although the music varies depending on customers preferences but typically it is western music with some Chinese, Bhangra, Indonesian pop music. It is a very popular venue for the locals & expat workers. #TIP# If you enter Queens before the kick off for any of the live European football matches wearing the shirt of the team playing you can enjoy 50% discount on jugs of beer for the entire duration of the game. Closest hotel is the newly opened Eastin Hotel, 1 minute walk. This area also hosts the Queensbay Mall shopping complex.
