Momine Khatun mausoleum and the wise man's by jorgesanchez

Nakhichevan' - Azerbaijan, Naxç©van Momine Khatun is, with much difference, the number one tourist attraction in the town. Its history looks like the Taj Mahal; a Sultan so much loved his wife that when she died he ordered the erection of the mausoleum. Inside it is a wonder, and contains many beautiful painting. Pictures are forbidden inside, but… I made friendship with the lady in charge! and she allowed me to take, secretly, only two photos, quickly, one of them depicts the wife herself, so pretty that I immediately understood the Sultan love for her; had I been the sultan I would have made the same for her! Ah! I almost forgot: the statue on the road represents a wise poet.
