Galveston - United States, Texas
I travelled to Galveston Island to study the history of Bernardo Galvez, who infringed a great defeat to the British in Pensacola and Mobile, and thanks to those Spanish victories the Americans obtained much quicker the independence. But apart from the name of a hotel and a street dedicated to Galvez, nothing else remembers that great Spanish strategist and general.
The picture shows a funny sign in one of the many churches in that island.
By the way, I assisted to the lecture in that church at 7 PM.
