You should not leave Lisbon without tasting the world famous Belem cakes (Pasteis de Belem). Its formula is a secret and the real one you will only find it in this cafeteria from 1837 besides the Monastery of Saint Jerome. When you buy these cakes (the price for unity is 80 cents of euro), you have to eat them within three days.
They also serve good coffee and other sweets.
