You have two ways to continue your pilgrimage to Santiago when you reach Triacastela, in Galicia: the first and orthodox is shorter and in one day you can get to Sarria. But the second option, although is 10 kilometres longer, will take you to this lovely monastery where the accommodation is for free. You can assist to the mass together with the monks. If you do not have money they will invite you to dinner, otherwise there is a cheap restaurant just in front of the monastery. According to the tradition, it was founded by Saint Martin Dumiense in the VI century.
