Typical Buryat Village |

Bratsk is a relatively new town in Siberia, located 450 kilometres north of Irkutsk, that owns its existence to the famous Dam, the fourth greatest in the world.
The best of this town is its people, all originating from different parts of Russia and ex Soviet Union countries (Armenia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, etc.) that live there attracted by the high salaries.
Apart from visiting the barrage of the hydroelectric station, the best tourist attraction is the Siberian Village, not far from the town, where you will experience the way of life of the Buryat people (Bratsk means place of life of the Buryats), their houses and traditions.
