White Dog Tavern |

This is a lovely and intimate restaurant not far walking from downtown Philadelphia, just across the river Delaware, near the famous Drexler University.
All the food is cooked with the most fresh and ecological ingredients.
It is also a place of pilgrimage for esoteric lovers’ because Madame Blavatski lived there. Her leg got infected and all the doctors that she consulted wanted to amputee it, but she just expelled the doctors and slept every night with a white dog over her infected leg, and soon her leg was cured, miraculously.
Try the White Dog beer that they produce.
I spent there my last dollars before flying back to Spain, and I ate in the terrace a dish wish sea food (mainly shrimps) with a delicious sauce, a couple of beers (half a litre each) and paid only 20 US Dollars (in Spain, Barcelona for instance, for that dinner I would have paid no less than 30 euro).
They have a library and gift shop next door, called Black Cat.
That dinner was a wonderful farewell from USA
