"And the GODS were pleased by the sight of their Magical work,
the most perfect, glorious and Wonderful of all their creations,
and decided to name it Xel-Há (the place where the waters are born)."
Xel-Ha (pronounced like English "Shel-Ha") is a beautiful eco-park, about 60 minutes south of Cancun, near Tulum. Wild parrots, sea turtles, dolphins, coral reefs, rare stingless bees, and countless varieties of tropical fish, are protected in this tropical jungle, where a freshwater river meets the Carribean Sea. It is very reasonably priced, and popular for scuba diving, and swimming with dolphins.
