They organise a great day of whalewatching. You also get to see two or three whales, dolphins and seals. The entire trip usually takes about 3.5 hours and costs around $125nz. The worst thing about the day is the size of the vessel, usually means there are around 47 other people all trying to get the best shot of the whale, and it can be a bit off-putting all the shutters clicking at the same time.
