I have an ambition to reach at least 5 million. However I don't know quite when the 4 million mark was passed and even Rudi, who is normally a reliable recorder of such things, seems not to have noticed. You exceeded the mark in record time yesterday: 1st million took 438 days 2nd million took 278 days 3rd million took 233 days 4th million took 225 days 5th million estimated as 215 days 6th million then about 200 days after that? Not only activity or uploaded volume counts; as GLOBO grows and search engines are refined, so more surfers find our archived material. For fun on sleepless nights, every three months I punch in the top 100 members clicks into an MS-Excel spreadsheet. That goes fast, record the value to the nearest thousand only. Excel calculates (extrapolates) the values for the next months. I find the results interesting because they show not only how much members have uploaded but what the guest looks for in search engines. Tips to all members: to increase your click rate describe your experiences and images/comments properly using correct key-words and correct place names. Also, I have cross linked my contributions between many web sites, my private or business websites too, so surfers enter from many directions like from my links at; http://www.listsofbests.com and http://www.allexperts.com Future million jubilees (predicted): - David will reach 5M end-October - Rudi 3M end-May - VK 2M mid-May - Misty 2M June - Wojtek 2M in July & another 2M+ on private Polish pages - Britman 2M August - Dani 2M September - Martin, Marianne & Isabelle 1M before end of this year - Six other members have surpassed the half-million mark - another twelve can before the end of this year - Kerrie & Gloria 2M end of next year 2009 - many members follow in various click rates - young active members will catch up rapidly Note always: This is not a competition, everyone should set there own goals, also with points and position :-) Click rates vary a lot following general internet trends.
