Xcaret is located in Riviera Maya about 35-40 ml. From Cancun. Ones it was a Mayan seaport, and ceremonial centers. Now it is wonderful ecological and archeological park with a little zoo as well. In Xcaret visitors can swim in Underground River. The river has gentle current and life jackets are available. The river is approximately 1600 feet long. In the park you can swim with the dolphins, snorkel, and even scuba dive. Exelent beach access where visitors can swim and relax. On the grounds there is a turtle farm, aviary, orchid farm-garden, flamingos, and butterfly pavilion.
