I know it is not a good picture, however, it can teach us a lot about the social life among people in rural Africa. Once I asked a person in Mali, why people have so many kids. His answer was that since when they get old they get nothing from the government they need their kids to take care of them! There still some (important!) things that the (white) West can learn from what we love calling "developing" countries
