information about india  DalhousieIndia
Most of the houses in the villages had similar architecture. The upper storey has roof covered with tiles that are actualy thin slices of a black coloured stone. The lower storey has a flat roof made of a mixture of mud/clay and straw. This flat roof is used as a verandah where they sit to catch some sunlight and dry clothes.
