The zoo is situated in a valley and in a natural environment for the animals. The animals are mostly free to roam around, and yet aren't threatning for the visitor. They are open daily, year round from 8h30am. It is 8.00Euros per adult, and 3.50Euro per child. Do get the bus schedule because you may be stuck at the zoo with no transportation to return to Salzburg Zentrum.
