Hey Julia, That's a Euphorbia, which is a tree, not a cactus. It's in the same genus as the Poinsettia. Depending on the species, those things can actually be poisonous, or so I've heard!

I turned my pc monitor 90 gegrees to the right and the picture looks great now without getting a stiff neck(mortimer's quot.).hahahahha.... just kidding!!!
