the Glenmoriston Arms Hotel built in the early 1700's is located in Invermoriston, about 40 minutes south of Inverness in the highlands of Scotland.
its close proximity to Loch Ness & famous castles - Eilean Donan, and Urquhart, plus the lochs & glens make it a great base to sightsee the area.
the hotel itself is family run, very clean, typically Scottish country hotel - high beams and oak wood decor which i love. the rooms are spacious, ensuite, the 4 poster bedroom has a private jacuzzi - which i enjoyed !
the restaurant food is exquistive, varied, but not budget in price. my other passion for Malt Whiskies was another reason why i stayed here, to sample a few Drams ! with an annexed Tavern for people wanting a beer and play some pool, it means you're not disturbed by late night drinkers. also provide wireless internet and other typical services a hotel would have.
in the low season they do some special deals on the 4 poster room, keep an eye out on the website for OFFERS !
