I have some posts from two Fijian Islands: Taveuni and Namenalala:
Namenalala is one little island in the Koro Sea, southwest of Savusavu. Just a little spot in the local map. Mr.Tom Moody and his wife Joan leased this 45 hectares island form the Fijian government to make 5 fantastic hexagonal "mbures" for the guests of Moody's Namenalala Island Resort. Romantic, there are just candles and gas lighting in the island. No energy. But you have to keep all your energy to dive the wonderful Namena Barrier Reef. And Joan will help you with her excellent food!
Taveuni is the third bigger island, on North. It´s a wonderful island with nice hotel and beaches. Diving is great, in the Somosomo Strait. The litte village of Lavena is the beautiful set where was recorded the movie the return to blue lagoon. There is a waterfall that was also movie set, Bouma Falls. The international date line cross the island. This photos are all scanned, not really with quality, exept for the underwater pictures, scanned from chromes.
Enjoy!
