Very very well photographed cave [4.4] Exposure x secs on tripod? Difficult, who rates 3* has never been in a real cave!

Rudi, I didn't use a tripod because it was forbidden there. I took lots of pictures and unfortunately only few are worth sharing here.

Taking forbidden photos was discussed earlier in globo, I think this kind of sceneries should be kept in mind, not in a photo, so this pic is meaningless for me...

Taking pictures wasn't forbidden. Only using tripods was not allowed. I just had to buy a photo ticket and could use my camera.

adampl - Oct, 01 2007 01:10pm
Taking pictures has no negative impact on the cave. Tripods were forbidden as you may unintentionaly cause some damage to the limestone formations.

there are many caves like this in Turkey and taking photo is forbidden here, because of flash light and also AF lamp of the cameras are harmful for the stone formations, http://www.karacamagarasi.com/karacagaleri.htm

Nice pics, Burak. As to the flashlight and AF - it's a myth they are harmful. The ban is usually introduced in order to increase the sales of cave booklets.
