What to look for when Zip Lining? Or Repelling?

What should you look for in terms of training? Heights? Distances? Safety equipment? I'm trying to select a location in Costa Rica, preferably in Monteverde and I see a number of options, but don't know how to compare? --- Life is not measured by the breaths you take but by the moments that take your breath away.
