Information about the Quipu

Many thanks for looking at my photos.
The Inca Quipa was a device for recording information, with differrents nots meaning differrent things. Counting the crops ...
There are still mysteries surronding the complete use of the Quipu, but it was also use to count the amount of people living in a given area. Ony people in the higher ranks in the Inca civilisation were able to read them.
It was an administrative tools, today will be same as having a memery on your computeur or a calculator.
The photograph I took was in the National Archeological Museum in Lima,
