There was old passenger steamer operating on Lake Tanganika from Burundi via Kigoma to Zambia. Does anybody know if it is still sailing? How often? Fares range? Thanks! There is old German steamer m/s Liemba (built 1914)departing on Monday 6 pm from Bujumbura - Burundi to Kigoma Tanzania (arr Tuesday morning) 20 USD deck class. Departing again Wed afternoon and arriving Mpulungu Zambia on Friday morning 35 USD deck class. Does anybody want to join me on this trip?
