Hello to all globies out there!

I am heading to Morocco from Spain in a short-term time. I have already been there a couple of times but not for more than a week. This time I will be travelling longer (and more countries) and would like to know your special recommendations on the country, specially off the beaten path places and things.

I'm pretty sure you have many to say!

Good travels, Antonio!

Hey you,

I am going to Morocco myself this year, in November that is. My recommendations:

If you are into culture and sights, the must-do's are Rabat, Meknes, Marrakesh, Fes and maybe Essaouria. Meknes, Marrakesh and Fes are known to be very original still, despite of the growing number of toursits, still authentic.

But it all depends on what you are into. Since you have been there before, I assume you know about the nature highlights in Morocco also. I will take a trip along the Kasbah road with a visit to Ourzazate and a sunset in the desert after visiting a real Oasis (one of my childhood reams...so excited!). I am into this whole authentic travel thing and plan to stay at a Riad also, that is probably a better call than a random hotel (although the quality of the hotels in Morocco is undoubtly great). My friend is a travel agent who just received her Morocco Expert certificate, she planned the whole trip for me from scratch. I can refer you to her if you like, she knows all about traveling Morocco.

She is German but speaks and writes english fluently, her email addy is silkestenger@freenet.de (sorry, can't seem to find her biz email, that's her private one). If you like to know more, just get in touch with her or send me a message through here. I'd love to hear more from you and about your travel plans' development!+

Greetz from Europe!
