Betty's Hope (AG) - Windmills

Betty's Hope is a very small place on Antigua, which however is famous for its windmills, which are a testament to the old sugar refining industry, which dominated a number of the Caribbean islands in the past. Those stone windmills at Betty's Hope are considered amongst the best preserved on the islands. There is not that much to do there, but the views are great and the idyllic surroundings are soothing. There is no public transport to get there, so one has to hire a taxi, which should not cost much at all. [edit text] [editors]
