After already booking my flights I have been told that you can't miss seeing Luang Prabang. I can only "shave" 3 nights off my other destinations to fit in. Is this going to prove enough time & worthwhile considering the cost of the visa per person is $30US alone!

I am so close that I would hate to come home and wish that I had done it!

Thanks.

Kerrie

I certainly would take the opportunity to stop over in Laos, such an special, hidden little country. Every stopover is well worth it. Consider the costs and time to fly there seperately. While flying often between business and relations between four continents, I specially avoid direct flights (they are more expensive anyway), and rather spend 1-4 nights at a stopover, like a mini-vacation after all the stress with business or at the family, also cuts long flying times into two parts. One usually needs atleast a week at a place to see most of it but atleast I have got a feeling for them and know if its worth returning there for longer period at a later stage. That way I have managed to experience a bit of cities like Casablanca, Cairo, Sofia, Reykjavik, London, Amsterdam, Dubai, New York, Buenos Aires and many more...
