Some people I know have been cancelling since the latest incidents. Appreciate any thoughts. I did not feel unsafe or threatened in any way. Entry controls have really been tightened up for anyone crossing from Java and the Balinese are really worried about their livlihoods ie tourists so therefore they keep a close eye out for any suspicious activity. Saying this, they are still the most gracious and welcoming people I have ever met. In the end the descision is yours but I say - go for it! I just had a fantastic holiday. Shure the bomb in Jakarta was bad again, but elsewhere on the earth they are bombs..... The balinese realy have a look to suspects and they do everything possible.
