Has anyone been to Macau? I'm planning a little trip to visit the Special Administrative Region of Macau and would love some tips or info about where to stay, eat, or anything else. I'm curious about this former Portuguese colony.

Hi

Macau is small place. There is not much to see. Remains if the cathedral, few chineese temples and Senado. There are also casinos. On the southern islands connected to the peninsula by bridges you can find beaches. I visited Macau on one day (self organized) tour from Hong Kong. There are small ferries going every hour or so... It is still unusual (portugeese "island" in China) and worth short visit.

Enjoy!

Wojtek
