Where in Goa will you be? It's a small state but large enough to make a choice. We stayed in Calangute, there are many guesthouses and hotels in all categories. The northern part is more touristy than south of Panjim, its capital.

Hi,
Does anybody have any info about Goa.
Please, share with me. I need to find nice place to stay in February
Hi....am going to Goa for a holiday between 07may and 13may. Will post a report and try to maintain a travel log which you could use.
North Goa is the happening place where all the partyanimals go in droves. The Southern part is comparatively more sober. Goa has plenty of lovely beaches/beach life, water sports, temples and a lovely wildlife sanctuary too.
Basically a good place to chill out - very laid back.
I went travelling to india 12 months ago, and i stoppped of in goa for two weeks. It depends what you like - if you love the party scene, especially Abba and techno, Angona (sorry the spelling is wrong) which is in the north of Goa, well that is the place to go, but we hated it and only spent 2 nights there. But if you prefer things a little more relaxed, then head further south to Palolem beach. we spent the rest of are time there, and i loved avery minute of it.
Anyway i hope that little bit of info was useful to you.
