I'm taking a year off medical school to do some travelling,. and from past experience have found going with someone to make the trip much more enriching. I was hoping to go to India in january and travel from Mumbai up to the North over a span of 3-4 weeks. Anyone interested in doing the same?

And for anyone who knows, is the same trip manageble to do in July? I know it's monsoon season then, does it rain alot from Mumbai up past Delhi?

Thanks!

The best time to travel around India would defnitely be in January. The weather is pleasant from January through March.

Do you have a plan or list of places that you would want to visit during your India trip?

Hope you find somebody to travel with you. In case you need any information or help, feel free to contact me on globo!

hi,

i wont suggest you to travel in mumbai in the month of july. the monsoons hit mumbai around first week of july are are prevalent till end august.this year it really rained a lot in the month of august, bringing mumbai to a standstill.

north india too would not be the best time to visit in july as it is very humid(talking abt delhi and the plains) however if u want to visit leh and ladakh the routes are open from july and july is the best season to go there.

if you could tell me where all u want to visit, then i can help u further.
