Alice Springs travel tips

King's Canyon Resort 
Try on of the deluxe rooms as they ae ensuite and comes complete with jauzzi. All rooms are chalets, but the standard rooms have shared facilities. The only disadvantage is there rooms are about a 15 minute walk for the main facility. Kings canyon is 3.5 hours from either Ayers Rock or Alice Springs and located just outside of the Watarrka National Park. more

Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park 
This is a fantastic national park, home to Ayers Rock and the Oglas. They usually sell tickets via a three day pass, which is the amount o time you need to explore the area and enjoy the sight of Uluru at sunrise and sunset. more

Australia Pacific Touring 
APT organised a tour from Ayers Rock to Alice Springs and it was a wonderful experience. All the coaches were air conditioned and they provided water along the way. Another great thing was organising an aboriginal tour of Ulura. really cool. more
