Christlum Alm Valley View

Roughly half way between Rosenheim and Innsbruck (on the E45) this area in the "Karlwendelbirge" is specially appreciated by day-trippers from Munich & Salzburg who seek fresh mountain air.

In winter two ski resorts provide skiing, snowboard and skating fun, in summer hiking, mountainbiking, windsurfing, sailing and even some scuba.

Interesting, the lake should really be part of Germany geographicaly, an "Isar vs Inn" river-capture saga exists...
