Travel guide to Vienna

Vienna, Belvedere.

Vienna is the city of music and one of the nicest ways to enjoy it, is to experience one of the many concerts; whether it’s Mozart with the orchestra in period costume, or the soothing sounds of Strauss with an evening waltz, or party in the park with Beethoven. The city comes alive to the sound of music.

If classical music is not your ‘thang’, then there are many museums to visit including Kunsthistorisches, Museums Quartier, Albertina and the Schloss Belvedere. Then there are the palaces including: Schloss Schonbrunn and the Imperial Palace; or the churches: Stephandom, Peterskirche and for something special visit the Spanish Riding School this famous equestrian arena is where the Lippizaner stallions are trained.

Vienna is a city to experience culture, heritage and classical music. It is easy to explore with the main tourist attractions around the Ring road - a stately boulevard that has Danube Canal as it starting and finishing point. [edit text] [editors]
