Hi Globies
I think about crossing Canada by this famous railroad.
Did you ever travel by "Canadian" coast to coast?
Any tips for budget solution?
Are stop-overs possible without extra fee?
Are the meals included in the ticket price?
Thanks
Wojtek

There's only one company that offers passenger service nationwide in Canada, and that's Via Rail.

http://www.viarail.ca/

The first thing I'd look at is the CanRailPass;

But it doesn't look like meals are included in that price. Still, it lets you hop on and off as much as you want.

Hope that helps!
