Travel guide to Bouillon

Bouillon is a smallish town in the province of Luxemburg in Belgium [NOT the same as the independent Grand Duchy.] For the carless it is reached by bus from Libramont, a stop on the main line from Brussels to Luxemburg.
The river Semois snakes raound like an illustration of the first stage in the making of oxbow lakes and within one of its twists is Bouillon's Chateau Fort. This means that the river is in view over about 3000 degrees from the chateau.
The Chateau Fort is nothing like the chateax of the Loire but a castle in the strict military tradition - going well back to the middle ages. It truly is like a child's dream with drawbridges, towers, passages and staircases galore.
There's plenty of accommodation in the town.
