Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve - Mexico, Quintana Roo There are several little islands in the lagoon, but for some reason this is the one where most of the birds end up. According to our guide it is also home to a lot of mammals and reptiles, like boas and crocodiles, swimming from the main land to the island to feast on eggs.
