Eibsee - Germany, Bayern You can clearly see the cable car staion on top of Germany's highest mountain (2962m). What we didn't know and only found out about the next day, was that on the very same day, when we were admiring the view from beelow, Swiss tight rope artist Freddy Nock walked up 995 metres on one of the 50mm thick cables equipped with just a balancing pole for support. During his walk he climed 348 meters in altitude, in some places the cable has a 56% incline. He accomplished this feat in just 50 minutes and raised over 13,000 euros for good causes in ethiopia in the process. Amazing!
