One of the most beautiful hotels I have seen. Part of the Shangri-La chain, this luxury hotel in the heart of Beijing's Chaoyang district was truly first-class. Service was excellent, the rooms were fantastic even by American standards, with a great view of the city. Lots of shops, a mall and even a Starbucks within walking distance. A short taxi ride away from Tienanmen Square and the Forbidden City.
