Thanks I'm glad you enjoyed it.
The report is half written, still to be finished, I have too much info for one report on both but not quite enough for 2....
Sorry we didn't catch up for a drink as we did hit the Ship Inn for a drink but it was an impromptu thing.
Maybe next time - friends of mine have just returned from a ski trip so that has moved on to my list of must do things so another trip is not out of the question.

It was hard to take because I was on the floor .... but we had a 2 story condo, that had one huge window. I used a zoom lens and took it. I always keep my camera
with my purse in case we are hit.

I didn't rate your Caen report because I am so averse to war tours that I felt unable to do so fairly.
However I do hope hte fact that you don't mention nearby Bayeux means that you have one to come on it.
