Africa is the last place in the world where large animals can you found walking free. Well waking free in a national park and Chobe is an awesome park that doesn’t believe in fences, so animals frequently wander to town.
The park covers over 10,000 sq km and has the great concentration of animal in Africa and is split in to four main areas, the Chobe river area in he north east, marsh in the north of Mababe Gate, swamp to the north west and then the dry land in between.
The main feature of the park is the pop ululation of Elephants. There is a plan this year to cull so 50,000 as the population are unsustainable in the park. But the big five can also be found here as well as hippos, crocs, baboons – you name it they have it. [edit text][editors]
