Hi Bruce,
Thanks for the nice comments about my Mui Ne report. Yes, their site lists higher prices than I found -- they may have gone up a bit. But when I booked, I went through a discount site on line -- in most cases, they can save you a bundle off the rates quoted by the hotels. As for getting there, I took a cheap bus. Something I'd never do again. If you go, take a shuttle bus from one of the better hotels (I think the Sheraton has one). Just a few dollars more, but apparently much more comfortable.

Thanks for checking out my Kioa report. We met a photographer from Slovenia living in Vuna Lagoon who had met the guy in charge on Kioa. We used this as our intro and also did sevusevu with the chief.

Your first report on Fiji is amazing and a wonderful start and am looking forward to some individuel pictures too. Where ever ive travelled, usually meet Ozzies, always good times!

I stand completely corrected, being this was the first time I had been there, I relied on my guide and a travel book for accurate information. I think I was trying to say it is not as vibrant now as it was then, much like the sugar industry in the Caribbean.
