Foumban in a town in central Cameroon famous for its sultan's palace, grand mosque and very civilised and well mannered population. The grand palace of the king is now a museum with a comprehensive anthropological exhibitions and the story about the royal family. Many travellers come to Foumban on a day trip from Bafoussam, but there are a few very decent places to stay in town, and the night life is really worth checking out. There is no bank however, and the only place to change money is with a few shop keepers behind the central mosque. [edit text]  [editors]
