I want to make this trip a success and help others along the way. I have spoken with various wilderness organizations, including The Sierra Club, about raising funds to help protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). I am currently filing the appropriate paperwork with the IRS so your generous donations will be tax deductible and you can be assured that they are not going solely to fund my ‘vacation’. I have also decided to extend an invitation to all motorcyclists who wish to participate in our ride. All who are interested please feel free to email me at jdixson@myaktrip.com. While the exact details have yet to be planned, my initial thoughts are having those interested meet in Seattle on July 1st 2004 to start the ride to Alaska.
