Hi Globies
Did you hear about flights from Alaska/US West Coast to the Russian Far East? There was a rumour that Air Alaska flies there but on their website I cannot see any Russian destinations...
Maybe you know more?
Thanks
Wojtek

Hi Globies!
I returned from the Russian Far East so I can share with you my knowledge:
In 2009 the only carrier who did the flights over Bering Straits: Nome to Anadyr was Alaska based Bering Air. You will find them in the net.
I did not use their flight because it is charter and they can confirm your seat not earlier then 2 week before they fly...
The price is also hefty (500 USD each way). Another problem is to get from Russians your Chukotka permit in advance.
