Hi Globies
Have you been there? Worth a trip? Anything interesting to see except Manuel Antonio NP?
Thanks for your info...

Was there in 2011. Manuel Antonio was terrific for viewing wild life. Lots of sloths, toucans and parrots. The monkeys are very aggressive and if you put your backpack down on the beach, they'll try to get into it.

Other than that, there is a bit of a beach scene and a very active bar life at night.

I should add - we went diving. The surf is somewhat rough and the water is not very clear. We did see several large turtles and some eels, but as diving goes, it was not spectacular.

We did go horse back riding and that was fantastic. We found a ranch that let us rent horses and we were allowed to run them (most places keep you at a trot). Horseback was a great way to enjoy the views!

Thanks a lot Eire
Maybe it will be worth to come again to Manuel Antonio. I did not see there any wildlife when I was there years ago...
